Ogun Tactical Defense LLC is a Durham, North Carolina based self-defense education and firearms instruction company. We specialize in North Carolina Concealed Carry Permit classes, and USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense, and Basic Pistol classes.

Our instructors emphasize safety and learning the proper handling of firearms. Classes are available according to our calendar, and must be booked in advance to secure a spot.

Our company is named after Ògún, the Yoruba Orisha of iron and metallurgy. He is pictured as a blacksmith, but presides over every activity in which iron is used — including cutlasses for reaping, guns for hunting, etc. He therefore becomes a god of creativity and of harvesting, of hunting and of warfare, of invention and exploration and destruction.
